Below are some ways that you can be a missionary here at home.
Take some time to read, pray, and then act! (James 1:22)

1. Invite your friends from school and neighbors to come to church with you.

Be on the lookout for activities our church is doing, then tell others.

- Read the bulletin
- Watch the slides before the worship service
- Look for posters in the hall
- Read the announcers
- Listen to announcements in the service
- When there are kid activities and family activities, invite your friends and their families!

2. Get involved!

Be on the lookout for activities where you can help:
  - Master's Market (sorting, stocking shelves, etc.)
- Bring food, clothes, and toys to Master's Market
- Help out at church carnivals, parties, banquets, etc.
- Bring items for Operation Christmas Child
- Bring canned food to food drives
- Bring a tithe (multiply the money you get by .10)
- Bring an offering (any extra money you want to give)

3. Talk about Jesus.

You talk about family and friends, right? God is your heavenly father and Jesus is the best friend you could ever have. Talk about them.

  - Mention God and Jesus when you talk:
- God takes care of your family
- Jesus is a friend who never leaves us
- Give God the credit for good things that happen
- God will see you through the bad things that happen

4. Set an example.

Living the way God wants us to is hard, but people are watching you.
  - Pray for God's help every day, then ...
- Live by God's rules, not by yours (or your friends')
- Listen to Chrisitan music
- Be careful about movies you watch
- Be careful about where you go
- Don't talk trash
- Don't listen to trash
- Be ready to explain (kindly) why you're careful
